Seeing the sights and teaching the children.

Communication between the group.

What words would you use to describe your experience in Peru?

Amazing, unforgettable, exciting.

What was your funniest or most memorable experience?

Most memorable was the boat trip on Lake Titicaca. It was interesting to experience the floating island and seeing the native people enjoy interacting with us and showing us their culture.

What did you enjoy the most on the trip?

I enjoyed meeting new people which turned into making new friends and learning so much sign language.

How do you think you benefitted from the experience? 

The experience opened up my eyes and I am willing to connect and learn about new cultures.

Being immersed in the sign language as well as the culture in Peru.
