Why did you join VoluntEars?
I already did VoluntEars in Sri Lanka but I went again because I want to have chance to explore the world and learn new things. Since doing VoluntEars I learn lots about myself and now I’m feeling confident to do what I love the most, art!
And making new friends along the way too!
Why did you choose the Morocco trip?
I picked Morocco because it is very beautiful country with rich culture. I haven’t been and glad I did come. And I will want to come back again to meet the deaf children again.
What were you looking forward to?
Riding on the camel which is definitely worth it! Once in lifetime chance!!
Were you worried about anything before the trip?
I wasn’t worrying as I been to Sri Lanka trip in past and enjoyed every last minute! I am more secure and confident to travel new country with VoluntEars. They have planned everything to small details.
What words would you use to describe your experience in Morocco?
Felt like in the fantasy world with colourful houses and Palaces.
What was your funniest or most memorable experience?
When the cat stole some of my leftover lunch! Cheeky thing…
What did you enjoy the most on the trip?
I really enjoyed camel ride and meeting the deaf children from deaf association centre.
How do you think you benefitted from the experience?
I gain new knowledge about different culture and more confidence!
What did you like about the VoluntEars trip?
That they really planned everything. And it give deaf people opportunity to see new country without worry.
How could we make the trip better in the future?
What could make this trip better is to make it little bit longer! There so much to see!!!
