Why did you join VoluntEars?
To volunteer for a cause close to my heart, meet like minded people and see new places/experience new cultures.
Why did you choose the Morocco trip?
I love Morocco!
What were you looking forward to?
Meeting the people from the Deaf organisation. Being in Morocco again. Meeting others on the trip.
What words would you use to describe your experience in Morocco?
Amazing!! Colourful, fun, unique, happy.
What was your funniest or most memorable experience?
A hearing person asking me if it was noisy when I slept in the desert 🤣
What did you enjoy the most on the trip?
Just one thing? Meeting Deaf people out and about in Morocco and Tracy (especially) interacting with them.
How do you think you benefitted from the experience?
Meeting new people, a reminder to start to learn BSL.
What did you like about the VoluntEars trip?
Lovely group, the fact that we had Deaf people and an interpreter on the trip.
