Why did you join VoluntEars?

Because I like to engage with deaf people from different countries.

Why did you choose the Morocco trip?

The culture and history appealed to me. 

What were you looking forward to?

Meeting volunteers and explore around Morocco. 

What words would you use to describe your experience in Morocco?

Lively, buzzing and fun.

What was your funniest or most memorable experience?

The most memorable experience was going for a quad bike and had delicious tea at the treehouse for a break. 

My funniest experience was playing ‘grabbing spoons’ with the volunteers and deaf children. 

What did you enjoy the most on the trip?

Playing cards games with volunteers, learning Moroccan sign language, visiting amazing gardens and quad bike and had delicious food with an amazing view during the sunset. 

How do you think you benefitted from the experience?

Meeting new friends and learning a new Moroccan language.

What did you like about the VoluntEars trip?

How we managed to explore many beautiful places and met a lovely bunch of volunteers.

How could we make the trip better in the future?

Make the trip a bit longer!
