How did you discover VoluntEars?

I have discovered from my friends about VoluntEars.

Why did you join VoluntEars?

Because I have had a spontaneous opportunity to join in.

Why did you choose the Everest Base Camp trip?

Because I am a nature lover.

What were you looking forward to?

To explore the top of the world 🌎 and to try myself and support the Nepal school 🏫 children as I am teaching myself.

Were you worried about anything before the trip?

I was worried about how the team gonna work together and to leave my own children as they were worried about me.

What words would you use to describe your experience in Nepal?

I have had an amazing experience, but now after few weeks I wish we would have had more days to spend there and to enjoy more.

What was your funniest or most memorable experience?

The day we were walked to the Everest View Hotel was very steep walk, but an amazing day, and the afternoon we have reached EBC.

What did you enjoy the most on the trip?

The beauty around us.

Was it different to what you expected in any way?

I would say, I was expecting to start much earlier mornings to trek (would give us even more time to enjoy). [We normally have breakfast around 7am and start walking around 7.30am]

How do you think you benefitted from the experience?

Like I mentioned before I feel my trip is not completed because want more time in Nepal. Would love to go again!

What did you like about the VoluntEars trip?

Small team I think was fabulous. The director of VoluntEars is an amazing person.
