Why did you choose the Morocco trip?

I wanted to try a shorter trip first to see what it was like.

What were you looking forward to?

Meeting new people and exploring a new place that was led by someone else.

What words would you use to describe your experience in Morocco?

Insane!

What was your funniest or most memorable experience ?

Camel riding for sure, won’t be forgetting that anytime soon.

What did you enjoy the most on the trip?

Learning Moroccan sign language, and meeting new people.

How do you think you benefitted from the experience?

I think before I was uncertain if interpreting was the right career path for me but after being involved with deaf people and the deaf school it definitely cemented I’m doing what I love.

What did you like about the VoluntEars trip?

It was all organised and planned out, I didn’t have to worry about anything and just turned up.

How could we make the trip better in the future?

Maybe an optional extra day longer so there’s more time to chill out.
