Why did you join VoluntEars?

Wanted to experience volunteering abroad and meet new friends.

Why did you choose the Morocco trip?

Morocco is such a beautiful country with so many exciting sights, smells and food!

What were you looking forward to?

I was looking forward to the deaf association, shopping in the souks and being a Communicator for the first time on a VoluntEars trip.

Were you worried about anything before the trip?

No – I know I can trust Richard! [VoluntEars Director, who was running this trip]

What words would you use to describe your experience in Morocco?

Exciting, friendly, colourful.

What was your funniest or most memorable experience?

Most memorable experience was watching the children in the deaf association playing table tennis.

What did you enjoy the most on the trip?

I enjoyed everything! The evening in the countryside was perfect, but so was the amazing gardens and everything else!

How do you think you benefitted from the experience?

It was an amazing experience for me to meet new people and to be a Communicator on the trip.

What did you like about the VoluntEars trip?

I liked everything! VoluntEars trips always attract such brilliant people and everyone is great fun to be around and interesting to chat to.

How could we make the trip better in the future?

Can’t think of anything!
