Why did you join VoluntEars?

I’m an interpreter so good opportunity to learn about other deaf cultures and sign language, love to travel so perfect opportunity.

Why did you choose the Montenegro trip?

For the first trip I thought a short trip would be ideal and this was the next trip available.

What were you looking forward to?

Visiting the deaf school and sightseeing.

What words would you use to describe your experience in Montenegro?

Fantastic!

What was your funniest or most memorable experience?

Funniest was generally when we were sat together as a group at meal times sharing stories. The whole trip was memorable!

What did you enjoy the most on the trip?

All of it!

How do you think you benefitted from the experience?

Gained confidence, gained knowledge about another country’s sign language.

What did you like about the VoluntEars trip?

Felt comfortable with the group, relaxed, included trips and free time, well organised, very worthwhile.
