How do you think you benefitted from the experience?

I have gain so much confidence and I have the chance to see what I am capable of once I started doing the renovation in school.

What did you learn?

By meeting different types of people, I learn so much from them all. It honestly does not matter who you are or where you from, just be yourself!

What did you like about the VoluntEars programme?

It giving d/Deaf people same access as hearing people to do volunteering abroad without communication issues. It take off the weight on my shoulder knowing that I can relax and just have fun.

What did VoluntEars do well?

Being flexible!

How can VoluntEars improve?

I can’t come up with anything to improve it!

What was your funniest or most memorable experience ?

There been too many funny experience, from start of the trip everyone keep on falling over (VoluntEars staff was worried about our safety!) and when we was playing Sri Lankan game and I was doing so well in first round that one of opposite team member want to team up with me and on second round I went downhill from there! Oops!
