What words would you use to describe your experience in Sri Lanka?

Wow! What a beautiful country, a very rich and an unforgettable experience! Very rewarding. 

How do you think you benefitted from the experience? 

It reminded me the big things do not matter, just stick with the simple things in life, making memories with my family.

What did you learn? 

How to paint, Sri Lankan sign language how difficult it is to retain all the sign language it has made me think about how I teach people BSL, how to cook curries, Sri Lanka culture, how to hold a turtle, how to play netball, how to play carrom. 

What did you like about the VoluntEars programme?

Very well organised and BSL terps available did not have to worry about anything. 

What did VoluntEars do well?

Everything especially with letting everyone know what is happening the next day.

What was your funniest or most memorable experience?

Playing with the children, releasing the turtles into the sea.
