Why did you join VoluntEars?

I wanted to travel to a new place for some different experiences  and meet some new people.

Why did you choose the Nepal trip?

The trek sounded fun to me.

What were you looking forward to?

Seeing a new country and the experiencing a new culture.

Were you worried about anything before the trip?

The flights to and from Nepal (first time without parents).

What words would you use to describe your experience in Nepal?

Eye opening, exciting, interesting, fun

What was your funniest or most memorable experience?

My most memorable experience was the activities with the kids. I really enjoyed getting to know them, teaching them things and learning things from them too!

What did you enjoy the most on the trip?

I really enjoyed the trek, the views were amazing!

How do you think you benefitted from the experience?

Confidence in traveling alone, new deaf friends (don’t really have any at home) and appreciation to what I have at home.

What did you like about the VoluntEars trip?

Loved how the group worked so well together and how we all mixed well as a group.

How could we make the trip better in the future?

More encouragement to stay longer!
