Why did you join VoluntEars?

Because i wanted to get full access when travelling and working with deaf community too.

Why did you choose the Nepal trip?

I decided to join Nepal because I have never been and I am soo glad I made this decision!!

What were you looking forward to?

Meeting new people and working in the deaf school!

What words would you use to describe your experience in Nepal?

Amazing and memorable!

What was your funniest or most memorable experience?

Getting top of the Poon Hill after 3 days of the brutal trek was a memorable experience.

What did you enjoy the most on the trip?

Meeting new people and at the deaf school with the children was the most enjoyable experience.

How do you think you benefitted from the experience?

Growth of my self esteem and  believe in myself more!

What did you like about the VoluntEars trip?

Fully accessible and felt safe too!

How could we make the trip better in the future?

I can’t think of anything because it was a well-led trip but maybe can expand to more countries in the future…

What countries would you like to visit in the future?

Sri lanka!!
