Was there a good mix of D/deaf & hearing volunteers on your trip? How did you find communication?

“It went well communication of each other. I helped the American volunteers to learn BSL and it would more easy communication of each other. Also I learnt ASL from the 2 two American volunteers.”

What did you learn?

“I learnt a lots of Nepalese culture. Also I learnt the Nepali writing and sign language. It was a good experience for myself.”

What did VoluntEars do well?

“It was well organised and BSL interpreter was there for 24/7.”

What was your funniest or most memorable experience ?

“I’ve had a great time in Nepal. I visited lots of place of Nepal. I had an amazing time with deaf students and some staff in school because of lots chat as funny, jokes and help an each other learn a sign language of between BSL & NSL. Also I was playing football with Nepali deaf students. It went great time! I fell in love with Nepal already. I’ll return Nepal in someday.”
